Job Title: Forklift Driver/Labourer
About Us:
Prime-Tech Precision is a leading Manufacturer and Distributor of Waterjet consumables and replacement parts. We also developed a garnet processing plant on-site that takes the spent aggregate (sand), and puts it through our recycling process to get it back to a virgin consistency.
Summary:
The successful candidate will be in charge of monitoring the machine operations to see that the finished products and components are aptly matching with the quality and quantity constraints of the company.
This is a Day shift position Monday to Thursday 10 Hour shifts
Core Accountabilities:
- Adjusting the operating speed and controlling the load of the machines
- Arranging and setting up the material handling equipment and machinery
- Operating forklifts and other power equipment
- Examining and discarding defective goods and packaging components
- Fix issues that may arise during the shift
Who we are looking for:
- Must be physically fit to lift 55 lbs on a rotational basis
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Experience in driving Power Equipment (Forklift/Counterbalance) Indoor and Outdoor
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work independently, while still acting as a team-player
- Strong communication skills including the ability to work independently with minimum supervision, or within a team environment
- Flexibility – able to quickly adapt to new situations – and creativity – able to think “outside the box”
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
