Position Available: Licensed Plumber (RBQ Certified)
Position Type: Full-Time
Primary Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings.
- Analyze blueprints to determine plumbing layouts and specifications.
- Collaborate with contractors, electricians, and other professionals to ensure proper system installation.
- Inspect plumbing systems for issues and perform routine maintenance such as drain cleaning and pipe replacement.
- Attend to service calls and handle plumbing emergencies as they arise.
- Operate hand and power tools for plumbing installations and repairs.
- Strictly follow safety standards and building codes.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license for company vehicle use.
- Licensed journeyman or master plumber (RBQ certified).
- Minimum of 2 years’ professional plumbing experience.
- Knowledgeable in welding for pipe and fitting assembly.
- Proficient in blueprint reading to interpret plumbing layouts.
- Familiar with HVAC systems for effective plumbing integration.
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles related to plumbing.
- Skilled in using various hand and power tools (wrenches, pliers, drills, saws, etc.).
- Strong work ethic with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime and respond to emergency call-outs.
