Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Construction Labourer to join our dynamic team. This role involves assisting with various aspects of landscape and construction projects, contributing to the creation and restoration of outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and experience or interest in construction-related tasks. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills across multiple trades within the construction industry, including masonry, carpentry, and equipment operation.
Duties
- Assist with landscape construction projects such as planting, grading, and site preparation
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to support project execution
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and related masonry tasks
- Support installation of features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other hardscape elements
- Assist with carpentry tasks including framing, cabinet installation, and general construction work
- Use heavy equipment operation skills for excavation or material movement when trained
- Apply restoration techniques to improve or repair existing landscapes and structures
- Support plumbing, electrical, or welding tasks as needed on-site
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Prior construction experience or related trade skills such as masonry, carpentry, or electrical work is preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics is a plus
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, concrete forming, tile laying, flooring installation, caulking, and masonry techniques is desirable
- Experience operating heavy equipment is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary
- Knowledge of construction estimating and schematic interpretation is beneficial
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards
- Valid <PERSON> (if applicable) or willingness to obtain necessary certifications or licenses for specific equipment operation or tasks

Pay: $17.00-$25.00 per hour
