B&J Global Inc. is a growing logistics and warehousing company providing 3PL warehousing, cross-border transportation, e-commerce fulfillment, Amazon FBA logistics, and distribution services across Canada and the United States.
We are currently looking for an experienced and responsible Warehouse Supervisor to support our Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations.
This position is ideal for someone who has hands-on warehouse experience, team leadership skills, and is ready to take on more responsibility in a growing logistics environment.
Mandarin is preferred for this position, as the role may involve communication with Mandarin-speaking team members, clients, and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Warehouse Manager with daily warehouse operations and team coordination
- Assign daily tasks and monitor employee performance and productivity
- Supervise receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory movement
- Ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on time
- Coordinate warehouse staffing and workflow based on daily operational requirements
- Provide guidance and training to warehouse associates and new employees
- Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts and physical inventory
- Ensure proper use of forklifts, warehouse equipment, and safety procedures
- Identify operational issues and report them to the Warehouse Manager
- Assist in resolving shipping, receiving, inventory, and order-related discrepancies
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
- Communicate with logistics, customer service, and other internal departments
- Support the Warehouse Manager in improving warehouse procedures and operational efficiency
- Take responsibility for warehouse operations when the Warehouse Manager is unavailable
- Perform other warehouse and supervisory duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience required
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Lead, Assistant Supervisor, or similar leadership role preferred
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control
- Ability to lead, organize, and motivate warehouse employees
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- English communication skills required
Language
- English – Required
- Mandarin – Preferred / Strong Asset
Mandarin is considered an asset due to communication with Mandarin-speaking team members, clients, and internal operations teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift operating experience
- Valid forklift certification
- Experience with Reach Truck and Counterbalance forklifts
- Experience with WMS or warehouse management systems
- Experience in 3PL, e-commerce, or Amazon FBA warehouse operations
- Experience with inventory management and cycle counting
- Experience supervising warehouse teams
