Reporting to the IT Superintendent, Specialist ITSM (Information Technology Service Management), ensuring the effective delivery of IT services through robust incident, problems, changes, and service level management processes. He or she will work a 5-2 schedule at the Montreal, possibility of teleworking.
Duties and responsibilities
- Lead the incident and problem management processes, ensuring rapid resolution and root-cause analysis to minimize business impact and escalation management (comms, restoration etc.), as per ITIL standards.
- Manage IT change and release governance processes to minimize service risk and operational disruption and provide required governance.
- Set and monitor service levels through effective service level agreements (SLAs).
- Supervise helpdesk and user support services, embedding a user-focused service culture, for effective problem management (RCA, KEDB, Optimization).
- Oversee the development and delivery of ICT user training to build digital capability and reduce user-generated incidents.
- Ensure ICT systems and data remain protected through robust security, access control, change & release governance and compliance measures.
- Demonstrate visible leadership and promote a strong safety culture;
- Actively participate in various organizational meetings;
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations and applicable legislation;
- Perform any other duties related to the position of Mine Planning Coordinator that are relevant to the successful completion of the project.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field;
- Least 3 years of experience in a similar position and 7 years of general experience;
- ITIL Foundation/Practitioner certification preferred;
- Hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license;
- Bilingual (French and English); will be required to communicate with Gold Fields staff and consultants who speak both French and English.
