We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Alberta Certified Teacher to join our Sprouts Academy ECS (PUF) team at Society for Autism Support and Services.
This position is well suited for an educator who is passionate about early childhood learning and development. Our specialized preschool and kindergarten program provides a collaborative classroom environment where educators work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including professionals in psychology, speech-language pathology, and occupational therapy. Strong teamwork and collaboration are essential in supporting each child's growth, learning, and overall success. In this position, you will deliver developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with the Alberta Kindergarten Curriculum, while supporting diverse learners through direct teaching. You will work closely with children, families, and ECS team members to support individualized learning goals and promote school readiness.
Key responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating engaging play-based, small-group, and whole-group learning experiences that support children's developmental and educational goals. The teacher will develop lesson plans and programming aligned with the Alberta Kindergarten Curriculum, collaborate with ECS team members, and provide guidance and support to classroom staff. The successful candidate will integrate evidence-based early childhood practices and contribute positively to a collaborative, child-centered learning environment.
This is a school-year contract position for the 2026-27 school year, running from late August through the end of June.

Position Requirements:
· Valid Alberta Teaching Certification (or working towards certification)
· Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
· Child Intervention Record Check
· Standard First Aid & CPR Level C
· Experience working with young children and special needs is preferred
Pay: $15.61-$44.08 per hour
