Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physiotherapist to join the FC Barcelona Football Camp team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with young athletes in a dynamic sports environment, providing specialized care to optimize their physical health, prevent injuries, and support their athletic development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, hospital or acute care experience, and familiarity with pediatric populations. This position is paid and open to qualified professionals passionate about sports medicine and youth health.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of athletes to identify injury risks and develop personalized treatment plans
- Provide physiotherapy interventions focused on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement
- Collaborate with coaching staff to integrate physiotherapy strategies into training programs
- Monitor athlete progress and adjust treatment protocols accordingly
- Educate athletes on injury prevention techniques, proper biomechanics, and recovery practices
- Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, assessments, and progress notes in accordance with medical standards
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized treatment environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospital or acute care settings, with a strong foundation in patient care
- Experience working with pediatric populations is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy and sports medicine
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with young athletes of varying ages
- Excellent communication skills for educating athletes, coaches, and team members
- Certification as a licensed Physiotherapist or equivalent credential in your region
- Passion for sports and youth development, with a commitment to promoting health and safety in athletic environments
Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
