We are seeking experienced nurses with backgrounds in:

Nurse Practitioner Practice
Primary Care nurses must possess a minimum of two years of acute care experience within an Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, or Medical Surgical environment.

Across remote Indigenous communities, nurses play a critical role in supporting individuals, families, and communities where access to healthcare can be limited and every clinical decision matters.
Northern nursing offers experienced clinicians the opportunity to practise with greater autonomy, expand their clinical experience, strengthen their assessment and decision-making skills, and make a meaningful impact where healthcare professionals are needed most.
Depending on the opportunity, additional training or assignment specific preparation may be required.

MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
At this time, opportunities are limited to Experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) who:
- Hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or an equivalent nursing degree
- Hold current Canadian nursing registration
- Currently working as a Community Health Nurse, Nurse Practitioner or Acute Nursing (ER, Med surg, ICU, Critical Care)
- Are legally authorized to work in Canada
- Two years of Acute nursing experience in Acute nursing
