Today, EDM Canada seeks to recruit a Stone Installer and apprentice/Helper to work on it projects alongside employees, each with more than 30 years of experience in marble setting, in the most luxurious hotels, boutiques and private residences around the world.
EDM Specializes in interior stone work, as well as façade work.
The Stone Installer Helper will assist the Stone Installer with the following responsibilities:
- Prepare to lay marbles (or other natural stones)
- Repair or maintain stone floors, walls, ceilings in high end residential & retail construction
- Assist in measurements, cutting stone, mixing Dry Pack or Thinset, grouting, protect and clean stone
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Pay close attention to detail, able to follow instructions
- Passion and desire to learn stone craftsman ship
- Self-motivated with strong work ethic
- Ability to communicate in French is an asset
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
- Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling, lift up to 60 lbs
Salary negotiable based on experience
