Responsibilities, Duties, and Requirements are below;
Concrete Finishers;
- Directing Concrete Truck upon site arrival.
- Pouring, smoothing, and leveling concrete.
- Monitoring the effects of the weather on the curing process.
- Applying sealing and hardening components.
- Safely operating power vibrator to ensure the concrete is compacted.
- Molding and constructing expansion joints using joiners and edging tools.
- Polishing surface using a power surfacing machine.
- Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete
- Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
- Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
- Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade
- Place and finish concrete on commercial, industrial and residential projects.
- Ability to work in a team environment.·
- Must have an attention to detail.·
Form-worker/Concrete Prep Carpenter;
- Working knowledge in Carpentry/Prep/Forms, Concrete and related materials and tasks (Setting up forms, cutting/bending steel, nailing forms to ladders, use of nail guns and saws, stripping lumber off footing, bracing walls).
- Working knowledge of methods, techniques and equipment required.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Full Carpentry pouch and basic tools
Skilled Labourer;
- 1 year Construction experience(wheelbarrowing, raking, shovelling, cleaning, form stripping).
- 1 year concrete experience would be an asset
- WHMIS or CSTS basic safety knowledge

Expected hours: 44.0 – 70.0 per week
