Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience working on various types of make and model and equipment. Duties
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
- Perform maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams for repairs
- Conduct welding and fabrication tasks when necessary for repairs or modifications
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic with dealership experience preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive repair, heavy equipment operation, and industrial machinery
- You most have your own tools
- Experience working with HVAC systems
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or installations
- Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting is highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills for effective communication with clients
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
