iGuide Academy of North York is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic part-time French Tutor who enjoys teaching students from grade 1 to grade 12. As a tutor at iGuide Academy, you will have the opportunity to positively impact students, both personally and academically. Some of the responsibilities include:
- Helping students to set goals for themselves and motivating them to achieve those goals with praise and rewards
- Creating, conducting and grading realistic practice tests and providing feedback on student performance
- Distributing informative study guides and other teaching materials
- Recording information about students or groups of students and making notes about their lesson plans and progress.
Ideal candidate for the position should possess the following:
- Ontario Certified Teacher is an asset.
- University Graduate with experience in either teaching or tutoring.
- Previous experience working with students is an asset
- Excellent English and French oral and written skills.
- Passionate to help students reach their full potential.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task.
- Ability to teach groups of up to 3 students.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
