Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial driving and heavy equipment operation, with a strong focus on safety and professionalism. Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including trucks and vans, to transport freight and goods to designated locations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, adhering to delivery routes and timeframes
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks; report any mechanical issues promptly
- Assist with the loading and unloading of freight, utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including manifests, invoices, and delivery receipts
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure safe transportation of goods
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial driving or logistics is preferred
- Familiarity with forklift operation, freight handling, and heavy equipment is advantageous
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics is a plus for troubleshooting vehicle issues
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping
- Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with clients and team members

Pay: $16.21-$29.27 per hour
