Qualifications & Requirements:
Education & Knowledge:
- Candidates must be A.R.D.M.S (now updated to CMRTO certification). or C.A.R.D.U.P certified or eligible
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with excellent patient care
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in follicular ultrasounds. Ultrasound assessments to include but not limited to: antral count, 3D studies, endometrial cavity evaluation, endometrial thickness, uterine, adnexal and ovarian abnormalities, and first trimester OB ultrasound.
Requirements
- Proficient in follicular ultrasounds. Ultrasound assessments to include but not limited to: antral count, 3D studies, endometrial cavity evaluation, endometrial thickness, uterine, adnexal and ovarian abnormalities, and first trimester OB ultrasound
- Communicate effectively with physicians and nursing staff to review diagnostic studies
- Communicate effectively with patients during and after assessments
- Respond appropriately to patient’s questions related to testing
- Consult medical personnel, when necessary, in order to maximize examination results
- Order and maintain ultrasound supplies
- Uses disinfecting techniques in accordance with practice policies
- Complete documentation according to practice standards
- Able to troubleshoot technical difficulties with ultrasound equipment
- Assists physicians with sonohystergrams
- Acts as a resource for physicians and staff for ultrasound interpretation
- Takes all reasonable precautions and work in compliance with related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
