Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Lot Attendant to join our team. This role is vital in maintaining the appearance and organization of our dealership lot, ensuring a positive experience for customers and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual abilities and dealership experience are a plus, but not required. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in customer service, hospitality, and vehicle management.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the parking and retrieval of vehicles in a safe and organized manner
- Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the dealership lot, including sweeping, trash removal, and light landscaping tasks
- Greet guests courteously and provide assistance as needed
- Handle guest inquiries professionally, offering information about vehicles or dealership services
- Manage vehicle inventory by tracking vehicle locations and ensuring accurate documentation
- Support with cash handling during sales or service transactions when necessary
- Ensure all vehicles are properly parked, secured, and ready for customer pickup or display
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth lot operations and excellent guest services
Skills
- Previous dealership experience or familiarity with automotive environments is advantageous
- Strong guest service orientation with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse customers and team members; bilingual skills are preferred
- Basic knowledge of cash handling procedures and customer service principles
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail in vehicle management and lot maintenance
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift moderate loads when necessary
- Friendly demeanor with a professional appearance and attitude
