Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced dog groomer to join our professional grooming team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality grooming services. Duties
- Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing for dogs of various breeds and sizes
- Maintain a clean and sanitary grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sanitized after use
- Assess each pet’s coat condition and discuss grooming preferences with pet owners to meet their expectations
- Handle pets with care and patience, ensuring a stress-free grooming experience
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently, providing excellent customer service throughout each visit
- Assist with heavy lifting when handling larger or heavier dogs safely and comfortably
- Educate pet owners on grooming routines and recommend products or services for ongoing pet care
Experience
- Proven experience as a professional dog groomer with a strong portfolio of completed work
- Knowledge of different breeds’ grooming standards and techniques
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and address their needs
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely when necessary, especially with larger dogs
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided if needed
- Passion for animals and dedication to providing compassionate care during grooming sessions
Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:
