We are a licensed childcare centre dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. We are seeking a passionate and qualified Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that support children's cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development.
- Create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
- Observe, document, and communicate children's progress with families and team members.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and centre policies.
- Support children's individual needs and promote inclusion and diversity within the classroom.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
Qualifications
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).
- Early Childhood Education diploma from an accredited institution.
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Previous childcare experience is considered an asset.
Schedule
- Our centre operates Monday through Friday.
- This is a part-time position.
- Part-time employees are not guaranteed a specific number of hours or days per week.
- Work schedules will vary based on staffing requirements, enrolment levels, and operational needs.
- Additional shifts and hours may become available as needed.
