SDR provides a complete range of Electrical, Plumbing, and Heating contracting services for new constructions, renovations, tenant improvements and much more throughout Leeds & Grenville, Lanark &. Stormont Dundas & Glengarry Counties.
We are seeking a skilled 313D HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving, ensuring optimal performance of HVAC systems for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Troubleshoot issues with heating and cooling systems to identify root causes of malfunctions.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and components.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation.
- Weld components as necessary for repairs or installations.
- Assist with plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems as needed.
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Requirements
- 313D Technician certification.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to build, maintain, and repair various HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with appliance repair techniques is a plus.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively.
- Experience with welding techniques is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of plumbing principles related to HVAC systems is an advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license .
