Levert is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Exploration Geologist to support mineral exploration activities based in Ontario, with remote field work approximately three hours north of Sudbury.

About the Role
As an Exploration Geologist, you will support the day-to-day execution of mineral exploration programs, including field work, core logging, geological mapping, and diamond drilling activities.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct geological field work in remote Northern Ontario environments
-
Complete detailed core logging and geological interpretation
-
Perform geological mapping and field data collection

Coordinate and manage diamond drilling logistics

Support all aspects of diamond drilling and exploration programs

Monitor drilling activities and communicate with drilling crews and project personnel
-
Collect, organize, document, and maintain accurate geological data
-
Assist with planning and execution of exploration activities
-
Identify and resolve field and operational challenges
-
Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures
-
Work safely outdoors in varying weather conditions and around wildlife
-
Maintain strong communication with project teams, contractors, and site personnel
What You Need to Succeed

Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related field
-
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Geologist
-
Previous core logging experience
-
Geological mapping experience
-
Experience with diamond drilling programs and drilling logistics

Mineral exploration experience is considered a strong asset
-
P.Geo. designation with PGO is an asset, or ability to obtain PGO designation

Valid driver's license

Ability to successfully complete a background check

WHMIS and Health & Safety training

Bear Awareness training

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Ability and willingness to conduct remote field work safely
