Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Front End Associate to join our team in providing exceptional guest experiences. This role is vital in ensuring smooth operations at the front counter, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have a background in food service or hospitality, with strong skills in POS systems, cash handling, and guest relations. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with their orders at the front counter
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage transactions accurately, including cash, credit, and digital payments
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest experience and sales
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained during order preparation and serving
- Handle food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to health regulations
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of the front area, including counters and seating areas
- Assist with basic food handling and serving duties during busy periods
- Manage time efficiently to handle multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining quality standards
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation practices
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for success in this role
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
