Future of Engagement (FoE) is a non-profit organization with a start-up mindset and the goal of making our democracy work for all communities in Canada. FoE leverages technology and data analysis to engage marginalized and underrepresented communities in all aspects of Canada's politics.

Overview
As a Multimedia Photographer at FoE, you'll work alongside the Major Community Projects Lead to capture FoE's summer work through photo and video, documenting members of underrepresented communities across Toronto at FoE's events and public outreach.
Task
- Capture portraits and candid documentation of community members, organizers, and FoE staff
- Edit and curate photo and video assets for use across FoE's communications
- Coordinate shoots with community members, including outreach and scheduling
- Share photos back with the people you photograph — for their own portfolios, applications, or community use
- Contribute to FoE's social media and graphic design as needed
Key skills and Abilities
- Photography practice, whether early or established, with a portfolio across portraits, events, or documentary work
- Can build trust with people of different backgrounds and ages.
- Self-directed with strong initiative and ability to work across teams
- Genuine interest in community engagement, civic participation, or documentary photography
- Background in photography, journalism, visual arts, communications
Pay: $18.40 per hour
