Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Officer to join our team. The Safety Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment across our manufacturing facilities. This role is vital in promoting a safety-first culture, minimizing risks, and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations. Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and enforce safety policies and procedures aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of the facility to identify potential hazards.
- Lead incident investigations to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Provide ongoing safety training and educational programs for employees to promote awareness and compliance.
- Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans and conduct drills.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, training sessions, and compliance documentation.
- Stay informed about the latest safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing environments.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement regarding workplace safety standards.
Experience
- Proven experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments with a focus on safety management.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
- Experience in designing and delivering effective training & development programs related to workplace safety.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff at all levels effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough investigations and implement corrective measures.
