Our client is currently looking for a Full time, Temporary Mixer/Evaporator/Dryer/Packaging Operator to work in their Tara, ON location. This is a temporary full-time role with the possibility of becoming permanent. Wage starts at $24.05 per hour.

About The Role
This individual will be charge of the mixer/evaporator/dryer/packaging operations including responsibility for CCP, sanitation quality control, and food defense. Other duties include:
- Emptying Bulk Product Into Hopper with Hoist Lifting Equipment
- Palletizing & Dumping 20 Kg To 25 Kg Bags of Product During Production
- Monitoring Metal Detector CCP & Weights
- Bagging & Sealing Finished Product
- Managing The Yeast Mixing Tank & Evaporator
- Monitoring Critical Control Points & Filters for Drying Operation
- Managing Yeast Cream Inventory
- Liquid Yeast Tanker Truck Unloading
- Performing Quality Control Analysis on In-Process Samples
- Collecting Product Samples for The Lab (Dryer Product)
- Creating, Verifying, Packaging & Labeling Product Correctly
- Preparing Raw Material for Rework Processing
- Inputting Data Into Several Production, Quality & Sanitation Logs
- Adhering Labels for Small Packaging on Repack Lines as Needed
- Shipping & Receiving When Required
- Filling In For Vacation & Absenteeism Coverage Of Evaporator/Mixer Operators & Dryer Operators
- Other Duties As Assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma
- Physically Able to Lift & Stack Up To 25 Kg Bags of Finished Product Repetitively
- Physically Able to Climb Permanent Ladders Periodically to Reach Platforms Up To 10 Feet
- Attention to Detail While Maintaining a Steady Pace
- Proficient With Multi-Tasking
- Must Be Able to Follow Detailed Instructions
- Must Be Able to Work While Wearing a Half-Face Mask Respirator
- Must Be a Team Player
- Must Have Some Mechanical Skill
- Must Be Able to Work in Large, Confined Spaces (Weekly Cleaning Inside Dryer & Filter Baghouse)
- Ability To Operate a Lift Truck
