We are currently looking to hire a Service / Parts Person to join our team of professionals in ensuring we continue to provide reliable service within our Shop.
Requirements
- Top notch service skills to a culturally diverse customer base.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a service writer or Parts person in the heavy truck/commercial vehicle industry.
- Knowledge on Oilfield equipment and trucks is a asset
- Dispute resolution skills and the ability to handle difficult situations.
- Axon knowledge an asset
- Safe and professional work practices are mandatory
- Physically fit and able to lift 50lbs.
- Ability to work for long periods of time on your feet.
- It's crucial to have strong reading comprehension skills, even when faced with messy or difficult-to-read handwriting. The ability to decipher and understand information accurately is essential for ensuring smooth communication and efficient service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison to customers in providing client-focused service in person, on the phone or over text/email
- Greet and assist all drivers that enter the service area
- Review account status and collect payments as required.
- Ensuring all work orders are closed in a expeditious manner.
- Obtain payments from customers for completed work.
- Maintain cleanliness of service counter and workspace.
- Manage inventory and order parts as needed for oilfield truck maintenance.
- Ensure timely availability of parts to minimize downtime for the fleet.
- Maintain accurate records of parts transactions and inventory levels.
- Coordinate with suppliers for competitive pricing and timely deliveries.
- Perform other duties as required.
