Must be able to host students where they live, and live within this area: West of 149 St., South of 111 Ave., East of Winterburn Rd., North of Lessard Rd.
- Preference given for those who can also play beginner piano
- Conduct singing lessons for students of various ages and skill levels at their home
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the needs and goals of each student
- Teach students proper vocal techniques, including diaphragm use, pronunciation techniques, and more.
- Provide guidance and support to help students improve their musical skills and achieve their learning objectives
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and creativity
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them grow as singers
- Collaborate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns or questions
Requirements:
- Proficiency in singing, a strong understanding of music theory, and a knowledge of piano.
- Experience working with children is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and parents/guardians
- Patience, adaptability, and the ability to tailor teaching methods to meet individual student needs
Note: University degree is not relevant to the position of Singing Teacher.
