The successful candidates will be responsible for the following:
· Assist with engineering designs and CAD drawings
· Perform basic mechanical testing and analysis
· Assist with full product lifecycle (concept, prototype, production, release) for fuel system components
· Interpret 2D Drawings and communicate to suppliers if any changes are required
· Support the design of manufacturing tools and fixtures
· Perform packaging reviews, feasibility assessments and tolerance evaluations to ensure fuel components meet vehicle integration and manufacturing requirements
· Support prototype builds, validation testing, and launch activities, including investigation of test results, fit/function issues, and corrective actions.
· Assist in inspecting mechanical installations and projects
· Help with the installation, maintenance, and repair of .
· Maintain accurate engineering documentation and release records to support production, service and post launch issue resolution.
Applicant must have a minimum of 2-3 years of work experience as a Mechanical Engineering Technologist. Applicant must have a College Diploma/Certificate. Applicant must have demonstrate minimum 2 years of expertise in DVP&R, DFMEA, APQP, PPAP preferred. Experience with Teamcenter PLM, UG NX, and OEM engineering tool suites an asset. Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering is an asset.
