We are currently looking for a Maintenance Clerk (Maintenance Administrative Assistant) to join our Mobile Maintenance team.
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the maintenance department by providing administrative support, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating information between various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide administrative support to the maintenance department.
- Maintain maintenance records, equipment files, and documentation.
- Maintain inventory records and documentation related to maintenance activities.
- Organize meetings, prepare agendas, and take meeting minutes as required.
- Ensure accurate data entry into maintenance management systems.
- Assist supervisors with various administrative tasks and special projects.
- Accommodation and travel coordination
- Manage all new employees with coveralls, and PPE
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in an industrial, construction, or mining environment.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and/or SAP & JDE is considered an asset.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Being bilingual is considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Working conditions and benefits:
- Work schedule of 14 working days, followed by 14 days off. The work shifts are 12 hours;
- Permanent full-time position;
- Hourly salary between 30.00 and 35.00$
- Overtime paid (time and a half rate) for hours worked over 40 hours per week and for work performed on Saturday and Sunday;
- Transportation to and from the mine site is provided. Depending on the employee's location of residence, travel may include charter flights and/or ground transportation.

- Work clothing and personal protective equipment (PPE) are provided upon hire.
