Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling mechanical components and systems with precision and adherence to technical specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical assembly, familiarity with schematics, and experience working with various tools and equipment. Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble mechanical components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to assemble parts according to specifications.
- Read and utilize calipers, schematics, and other measuring instruments to ensure precise assembly.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed for material handling.
- Weld, machine, or modify parts as required to meet quality standards.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled components to verify accuracy and functionality.
Requirements
- Proven experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments, preferably in assembly roles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, calipers, and welding equipment.
- Experience with machining, welding, or forklift operation is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings essential for accurate assembly.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Prior warehouse experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and safety procedures is required.
Pay: $19.00 per hour
