Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Flexible
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipper/Receiver/Parts to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and inventory control. This role requires familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, and operating material handling equipment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining smooth warehouse operations, supporting e-commerce fulfillment, and ensuring timely delivery of products.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities and quality against purchase orders and packing lists
- Load and unload goods using forklifts, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders accurately
- Utilize management systems for inventory tracking and order processing
- Maintain organized storage areas to facilitate efficient order picking and inventory management
- Assist with order fulfillment processes for jobs
- Ensure proper packaging to prevent damage during transit
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Follow safety protocols when operating forklifts, reach trucks, or other equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse environment
- Coordinate ordering of parts and follow up on outstanding orders
- Complete parts deliveries and pickups as required
- Process returns and warranty items in a timely and organized manner
- Order parts for Jobs / Stock replenishment
- Conduct monthly fire extinguisher tagging for shop and service vehicles
Qualifications and Requirements
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Acceptable Driver’s Abstract
- Previous experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related roles preferred
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically capable of lifting and handling materials as required
- Experience with order picking, order fulfillment, load & unload procedures in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for counting and verifying shipments accurately
Working Conditions
- Full-time position, Monday through Friday
- Standard working hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM - Flexible
