Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Painter & Finisher (Supervisor Level) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing cabinets to achieve a flawless, durable surface. Your expertise will help bring clients’ visions to life through meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on residential and commercial renovation projects, utilizing a wide range of painting techniques and finishing skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare cabinet surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and repairing imperfections using hand tools and power tools
- Apply primer, paint, stain, or lacquer with airless paint spraying equipment for smooth, even finishes
- Finish cabinets with caulking, glazing, or other techniques to ensure seamless joints and edges
- Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and color schemes based on color theory principles
- Use hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, and putty knives to achieve precise results
- Perform restoration work on older cabinets or surfaces requiring specialized techniques like plastering or stucco application
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following proper safety protocols on construction sites
Experience
- Proven experience in residential or commercial painting with a focus on cabinetry or furniture finishing
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes related to painting projects
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics for accurate project execution
- Hands-on experience with various hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment
- Strong understanding of color theory and surface preparation techniques
- Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects involving carpentry, drywall, masonry, or restoration work
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
