Randall Plumbing & Heating is seeking a skilled, safety-conscious Journeyperson Refrigeration Technician to join our team. In this role, you will commission, service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Repair: Diagnose, service, and repair commercial/industrial refrigeration and boiler systems
- System Diagnostics: Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and electronic control systems to identify root causes of equipment failure.
- Compliance: Perform routine maintenance and ensure all work aligns with local building codes, regulations, and union safety standards.
- Customer Service: Interface professionally with commercial clients, explaining technical issues and providing clear resolution plans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate digital service logs, tracking refrigerant usage and system performance metrics.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Credentials: Valid Red Seal in Refrigeration. "A" or B" Gas Ticket an assest.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial refrigeration service.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematic drawings. Experience with modern energy management systems (EMS) is highly preferred.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (company service vehicle provided).
- Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work comfortably in varying weather conditions.
