Reliable Tire Recycling (RTR) is the leading tire recycling company in Manitoba, focused on crumb rubber production and rubber molding. To support our operations, we are seeking for a full-time maintenance technician. This role focuses on keeping equipment reliable, supporting production, and resolving mechanical issues as they occur.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Perform preventive maintenance and identify equipment problems early
- Work at heights or in confined spaces when required to inspect, clean, lubricate, and maintain equipment
- Support improvement projects and collaborate with other team members
- Maintain clear records of maintenance work and repairs
- Assist in machine adjustments and guide operators when needed
Qualifications
- Experience in industrial maintenance or a similar role in an industrial environment
- Ability to adjust schedule during periods of higher maintenance demand
- Welding and electrical skills are considered strong assets
Ability to communicate effectively in English and provide leadership to maintenance and production workers
