We are looking for a Coffee Shop General Manager who can bring energy, organization, leadership, and pride to the day-to-day operation of the café.

The Role
The Coffee Shop General Manager is responsible for leading the café team, creating a great customer experience, maintaining high standards, and making sure the shop runs smoothly every day.
You will be the person who helps set the tone: organized, upbeat, professional, clean, efficient, and customer-focused.
This role is ideal for someone who can balance people, product, operations, and details.
What You’ll DoTeam Leadership
- Lead, coach, and support the barista team
- Help create a positive, respectful, and high-energy work environment
- Train new staff on drink standards, customer service, cleaning, and café systems
- Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable
- Help build a culture of pride, teamwork, and consistency
- Create or assist with staff schedules
- Communicate clearly with ownership and team members
Customer Experience
- Make sure every customer is welcomed and served professionally
- Handle customer concerns with maturity and good judgment
- Build relationships with regular customers
- Keep the café atmosphere friendly, clean, and inviting
- Look for ways to improve the guest experience
Café Operations
- Oversee daily opening, closing, cleaning, and prep routines
- Maintain drink quality, food quality, and service standards
- Monitor inventory and help place orders
- Reduce waste and improve efficiency
- Ensure the café is stocked and ready for busy periods
- Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and health standards
- Help organize seasonal drinks, promotions, and café features
Sales, Marketing, and Growth
- Help drive sales through great service, consistency, and smart product presentation
- Support social media ideas, seasonal promotions, and local campaigns
- Help identify ways to grow catering, grab-and-go, retail, and café sales
- Bring ideas to improve products, systems, layout, service flow, and customer experience
Admin and Systems
- Use POS, scheduling, inventory, and communication tools
- Help track issues, improvements, staff needs, and product needs
- Communicate with ownership in a clear and organized way
- Embrace technology and AI tools where they can help make the job faster, cleaner, or more efficient

Experience
Management experience in a café, restaurant, retail, hospitality, or customer service environment is strongly preferred.
Barista or coffee experience is an asset, but strong leadership, organization, and customer service skills are just as important.

Schedule
This is a full-time position. The schedule may include weekdays, weekends, and occasional special events depending on business needs.

Pay: $42,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
