Position Summary
We're hiring a Paint Protection Film (PPF) Installer to join our growing team. This role is focused on high-quality PPF application. Wrap and tinting skills are appreciated, but not required.
PPF installation experience is required, but we offer training to help refine and perfect your skills. No experience with DAP or plotting software is necessary — we will train you.Key Responsibilities
- Perform full vehicle prep: washing, clay bar, decontamination, and inspection
- Mix and apply proper slip and rinse solutions (understanding basic dilution ratios)
- Accurately install PPF using edge control, alignment, and clean techniques
- Prevent common install issues such as silvering, chicken skin, stretch marks, and bubbles
- Understand how to manage edges and stopping points to prevent film lifting
- Follow proper install sequences and start points when using pre-cut patterns
- Fully prepare each panel from install to final delivery condition
- Handle vehicles and customer belongings with care and responsibility
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Knowledge & Technical Skills
- Ability to properly wash and prep a car for film application
- Keen eye for surface issues that may affect install
- Familiar with how film behaves under tension and with heat
- Understand panel shapes, curves, and tension zones
- Basic knowledge of pre-cut pattern workflow and install logic
No DAP/plotting software experience required — training is available.Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of PPF installation experience
- Strong work ethic and focus on quality
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Wrap and tint experience is a plus but not required
- Valid driver’s license
