We are seeking a skilled and motivated Handyman/ Renovation Associate to support and execute full-cycle renovation and installation projects across retail store locations and other premises required.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute store renovation and improvement projects from start to finish
- Perform on-site installations including fixtures, shelving, cabling, and equipment setup
- Assist with home and commercial installations, including basic system setup and troubleshooting
- Handle general construction tasks such as framing, drywall, painting, flooring, and finishing work
- Support electrical and low-voltage work (e.g., cabling, security systems, powering up devices)
- Diagnose and resolve installation or renovation issues efficiently
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Travel to various store locations and customer sites as required
- Work independently or collaboratively with team members to meet project timelines
Requirements:
- 1+ year experience in renovation, construction, or similar hands-on work
- Willingness to travel to different job sites
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Experience with installations, cabling, or technical setup
- Strong attention to detail, especially for finishing work
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to different project needs
- Ability to handle physically demanding work (lifting, climbing, bending, confined spaces)
- Comfortable working in indoor and outdoor environments
- Valid Ontario G Driver’s License
