We are currently looking for an experienced and dependable roofer to join our growing team.
Position Summary
The Experienced Roofer will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems while working efficiently and safely as part of a crew. The ideal candidate has strong roofing knowledge, a solid work ethic, and the ability to produce quality work with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace roofing systems including modified bitumen, TPO, EPDM, BUR, Inverted systems and repairs
- Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for installation
- Diagnose roof leaks and perform repairs efficiently
- Operate roofing tools and equipment safely
- Follow company safety procedures and fall protection requirements
- Load and transport materials as needed
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Work collaboratively with crew members and foremen
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and to quality standards
- Communicate professionally with customers when required
Qualifications
- 3+ years of roofing experience required
- Experience with commercial roofing systems
- Knowledge of roofing safety practices and fall protection
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and performing demanding labor
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s licence preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Must be a member of Local 269 Union or willing to join
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel when required
Preferred Skills
- Experience with flat roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, BUR, Modified Bitumen)
- Safety certifications considered an asset
- Basic knowledge of construction drawings and measurements
