Job Title: Door Assembler / Door Technician
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Door Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and finishing high-quality doors to meet customer specifications. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone with carpentry experience and a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and assemble door components using hand and power tools
- Build exterior doors according to specifications
- Operate ppower tools and associated machinery safely and efficiently
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
- Repair or modify doors as required
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
✅ Qualifications
- Previous experience in carpentry, woodworking, or door/window manufacturing preferred
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, saws, drills, and other equipment
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to [weight, e.g., 75 lbs])
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Nice to Have
- Experience with custom door fabrication
- Knowledge of different door and jamb types and materials
- Finishing skills (staining, painting, sealing)
