We have an exciting opportunity to join as a hybrid Intake Specialist working in our Intakes Department in Vancouver. Reporting to the managing partners, your role will include but are not limited to the following:
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Be a part of a team of people interviewing vulnerable people going through some of the most difficult times in their lives.
- Handle incoming calls from potential clients and gathering information.
- Ensure that client information is properly documented.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Experience
- Genuine interest in helping people in a trauma informed way.
- Experience in sales and/or call centres is an asset.
- High organization skills with the ability to multi-task, learn fast, and work in a team environment.
- Strong work ethic and a self-starter.
- Detail oriented.
- A people person with a friendly and compassionate attitude.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to quickly develop a rapport with potential clients over the telephone or in person.
- General computer and typing skills.
