Last Door Recovery Society is a registered Canadian charity, non profit recovery community. We are a distinguished leader in fostering a community that inspires recovery. Our mission is to provide therapeutic environments where individuals and families dealing with addiction issues can develop the necessary skills to live free from dependency. We offer long-term bed-based and outpatient treatment for youth men 14-18, adult Men and Women aged 19 and over, utilizing a Social Model treatment modality. Job Overview:
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Program Coordinator provides operational leadership for a multidisciplinary frontline team while ensuring safe, consistent, client-centred service delivery at our New Westminster, BC site. The Coordinator supervises approximately 3–6 Support Workers and Peer Support Workers, leads day-to-day programming, and helps maintain a trauma-informed, recovery-oriented culture. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends staff supervision, program coordination, and client-focused problem-solving.
Responsibilities
● Coordinate daily programming, schedules, and routines for consistent service delivery.
● Supervise, schedule, coach, and support Support Workers and Peer Support Workers.
● Ensure safe operations aligned with policy, licensing, and accreditation.
● Maintain program records and support compliance and audit readiness.
Qualifications
● Post-secondary education in human services, social work, or addictions.
● 2+ years in recovery, mental health, or social services, with supervisory experience.
● Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
● First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain).
● Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
● Satisfactory criminal-record check (vulnerable-sector).
Working Conditions:
● Full-time leadership position based at our New Westminster, BC site within a bed-based treatment setting.
● Generally Monday–Friday, with flexibility for occasional evenings and weekends and participation in an on-call rotation.

Pay: $47,840.00-$54,080.00 per year
