Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will ensure guest rooms are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for hospitality service. Prior experience in cleaning or custodial work, especially within hotel or industrial settings, is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain guest rooms according to established standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Ensure all areas are sanitized and hygienic, adhering to health and safety protocols
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, stairwells, and common areas when required
- Follow all safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Assist with additional cleaning tasks or special projects as directed by management
Experience
- Previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred, especially in hotel or hospitality environments
- Experience with industrial cleaning techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with hospitality standards and procedures is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience in customer service or guest interaction is beneficial but not required
Pay: $17.92 per hour
