Our client is growing its business, and we are seeking an experienced Licensed 310T Truck & Coach Technician to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on our fleet of heavy-duty trucks and commercial vehicles to ensure maximum uptime, reliability, and safety in compliance with MTO regulations.
Looking for a Licensed Apprentices 310T (3rd/4th year) in Chapleau, ON
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty diesel engines, transmissions, electrical systems, air brake systems, steering, suspensions, and hydraulic components.
· Conduct thorough inspections and routine servicing (oil changes, lube, filter replacements, brake adjustments) according to maintenance schedules.
· Conduct MTO vehicle safety inspections, ensuring all equipment meets regulatory standards.
· Utilize advanced computerized diagnostic tools and OEM service software to identify issues accurately.
· Complete work orders, maintenance records, and repair reports promptly and accurately.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all workplace health and safety protocols (WHMIS).
· Provide emergency road service repairs as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
· 5+ years of hands-on experience in a fleet or heavy-duty repair shop environment.
· 3rd or 4th year 310T Apprentice
· Valid "G" Class Driver's License
· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and electrical skills, with familiarity with computerized diagnostic equipment.
· Able to lift heavy parts (up to 50+ lbs), stand, bend, and work in physically demanding, all-weather conditions
