Job Summary
Source For Sports is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Store Service Associate to provide outstanding customer service and support daily retail operations. The successful candidate will assist customers with product inquiries, process transactions, maintain merchandise displays, and contribute to a positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional assistance.
- Help customers locate products and provide information on merchandise.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, debit, credit card, and mobile payments.
- Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and inventory organization.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sales floor.
- Support receiving, pricing, and inventory management activities.
- Address customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
- Promote store programs, promotions, and special offers.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail, cashier, or customer service experience is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math and cash-handling abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Interest in sports and sporting goods is an asset.
