JD Doors is a locally owned and operated company that has been open since 1981. In the 40+ years in operation, we have grown, improvised, and expanded to be a well known residential and commercial overhead door, as well as dock leveler and seals company.

If you are:
- A good team player who gets along well with others and can adapt to changes
- Ambitious and Dependable
- Comfortable with heights (ladders & lifts)
- In good physical condition; drug free, healthy, and able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively
- Work on feet all day and in our Alberta climate
- Mechanically inclined
- Safety conscious (safety training and tickets an asset)
- Without a Criminal Record
- Able to provide a Clean Drivers Abstract is a must
You will be working as part of a two-person crew, assisting in the service, repairs, and/or installation of residential or commercial doors while learning on the job from an Overhead Door Technician.
Your responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a professional demeanor
- Focus on quality workmanship
- Championing safety standards
- Providing superior customer service
- Working with hand tools, electric tools and ladders
- Regular interaction with warehouse staff, construction Project Managers, customers other trades and safety personnel
- Taking direction from Overhead Door Technician and providing support
- Actively participating in learning the trade
- General warehouse duties
- Other duties, as assigned

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Education:
- Secondary School (required)
Experience:
- Construction: 1 year (preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
