Our client is an 88-year-old gentleman. He is very gentle and docile and is living with dementia. specifically seeking a mature caregiver who speaks clearly and is easy to understand, as effective communication is very important to them. Consistency of caregivers is a top priority, particularly for weekend coverage, and the family would strongly prefer to have the same caregivers assigned on an ongoing basis.Duties will include:
- Assistance with bathing, grooming, and personal care
- Meal preparation
- Laundry and changing bed linens
- Medication reminders and management
- Accompaniment to medical appointments when required
- Running errands with the client
- Providing companionship and supervision as needed
A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are mandatory for this assignment, as the family has experienced challenges in the past with missed buses and delays associated with public transportation.The proposed schedule is as follows:Weekends
- Saturdays: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Saturdays: 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. (overnight)
- Sundays: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Sundays: 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. (overnight)
Weekdays
- Monday to Friday: 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
