Summary
As a Class One Driver, you will be responsible for operating commercial vehicles with a Class 1 License. Your primary duties will include driving, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining accurate records. Utilize your core skill in commercial driving to navigate routes efficiently. Your relevant skills in heavy equipment operation and automotive repair will further enhance your performance in this role. Join our team and be a valuable asset in our transportation operations.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Class One vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Perform heavy equipment operations as needed during transportation tasks.
- Conduct basic automotive repairs and maintenance to ensure vehicle functionality.
- Demonstrate strong English writing skills for documentation and communication purposes.
- Pre-trip/Post Trip inspections
Requirements:
- Minimum three years of driving experience
- Proficient in reading and writing English
- Experience driving tandem trucks, pups, and tractors with demo trailers.
- Ability to excel in various tasks, especially during winter months
- On-call availability, day or night, 3 days a week
