Los Guerreros Latin Foods is looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, provides exceptional customer service, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, creating a welcoming shopping experience.
Process cash, debit, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
Assist customers with product inquiries, recommendations, and locating merchandise.
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sales floor and checkout area.
Receive, stock, rotate, and organize merchandise according to company standards.
Answer telephone inquiries professionally and provide accurate information to customers.
Resolve customer concerns and complaints courteously and effectively.
Support team members with daily store operations as needed.
Follow all cash-handling, safety, and store procedures.
Qualifications
Previous retail, cashier, or customer service experience is an asset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
Comfortable handling cash and operating point-of-sale systems.
Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Ability to safely use a ladder to stock and retrieve merchandise.
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, is an asset.
