Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Vegetable Picker to join our agricultural team. This role involves harvesting fresh vegetables using a knife and the being able to lift boxes onto wagon. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and familiarity with farm equipment and tools. Must be able to work in various weather conditions. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work outdoors in a productive environment, contributing directly to the supply of fresh produce. No education is needed for this job.
Responsibilities
- Harvest vegetables by hand or using appropriate hand tools, ensuring proper selection and handling
- Handle heavy lifting of crates, bags, or baskets filled with vegetables or supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to farm procedures during all activities
- Qualifications
- Prior experience or knowledge in horticulture is an asset
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Pay: $17.60 per hour
