The Graduate Affairs Assistant is responsible for supporting the effective and efficient administration of graduate programs within the Don Wright Faculty of Music under the direction of faculty leaders. The role acts as a resource for faculty members, current and prospective students, and the public, providing information and support on matters related to graduate programs from the time of inquiry through admissions, registration, funding, program progression, examinations, recitals, and graduation. The Graduate Affairs Assistant serves as a resource on University, Faculty, and School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies policies and procedures, and provides administrative support for graduate admissions, student funding, teaching assistant appointments, course administration, graduate milestones, committee activities, and student communications to support an exceptional graduate student experience.
