We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment. This role is essential to ensuring smooth kitchen operations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area.
- Remove garbage and recycling and keep waste areas clean.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors as required.
- Ensure all cleaning and sanitation procedures are followed.
- Assist with basic kitchen cleaning duties and support kitchen staff as needed.
- Follow all workplace health and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings and weekends.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
