We are looking for an additional part time or full time claims manager / adjudicator to support our growing lines of business, working from our Edmonton head office.

Matrix is currently looking for a qualified candidate to assist Canadian employers achieve best outcomes on their workers' compensation and non-occupational claim matters.
Candidates must have relevant experience in managing occupational and/or non-occupational injury claims.
- Familiarity with WCB legislation, policies and procedures is required.
- Prior workers' compensation board employment (in any Canadian jurisdiction) is preferred.
- Prior experience with STD / LTD claims is an asset.

Responsibilities
- Reporting to and working exclusively from the Matrix South-Edmonton Office
- Supporting Matrix clients (Employers) with workers' compensation claim management including safe and early return to work, minimizing costs on rate statements through cost relief and effective modified duties, timely follow-up on tasks, and professional and results-driven analysis of claim circumstances.
- Assisting Employers with WCB decision analysis.
- Telephone, video conference and email communication with employer clients, and WCB.
- Collaborating with the Matrix Team on answering client questions and providing claim solutions that drive best outcomes for injured workers and employers.
- Tracking calls, appointments, and tasks for client billing and management review.
- Providing client updates on monthly results and claim status.
- Timely and efficient client relationship management, and collaboration with other Matrix team members on service delivery and problem solving.
- WCB Data Requests, preparing reports for executive, and other administrative tasks.
Skills
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in results-driven case management.
- High attention to detail, strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills (phone, video conference, and email).
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Access/Teams).
